Williamsburg is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn, bordering Greenpoint to the north; Bedford–Stuyvesant to the south; Bushwick, East Williamsburg, and Ridgewood, Queens to the east; and Fort Greene and the East River to the west.

North Williamsburg is off the Bedford Stop of the L train with easy quick access to Manhattan. The retail scene is amazing with a mix of cool boutique shops and cafes, bars and restaurants. Williamsburg has always been somewhat of a trend setting neighborhood and continues to re-create itself. New trendy boutique hotels and creative workspaces are located on the Northern end. New waterfront development has spurred a new rental and cutting-edge condo market. This hip neighborhood draws the young and fashionable to its cool boutiques and trendy restaurants and bars. Street art and old original warehouse that has been converted give the streets an artistic vibe. Seasonal venues along the river have outdoor concerts and food markets.
South Williamsburg is another piece of the neighborhood that has developed its own vibe with new development rental and condos. The Domino Sugar development along the river is amazing with the New Domino Park along the waterfront. New residential towers will line the river and offer more thriving retail and also a new school. Further south on the other side of the Williamsburg bridge is more waterfront development with new towers @ 420 Kent Avenue and the Oosten @ 429 Kent Avenue.
New trendy restaurants have also opened here, as this is a hotbed for new businesses.
